Crap crap day ,oh I wish I went to the Weymouth usm !!! I started with the Falcon and 6.6 ended up losing 10 groynes upwind !!!!! as the wind went light.I then struggled back to the Dip and changed to the Xantos with the 6.6 but the wind had increased and the sea was a real lumpy mess.So after a mega wipeout 3/4 of a mile out I realised my mast was an odd shape !!! I was slowly drifting ashore with the wind and tide helping,I then derigged and a friend - Paul Smith came to my rescue and towed me the last 1/2 mile ashore !!! (a big thank you to Paul for taking the time to save my life !!!! ) After watching the big turnout of windsurfers not overly enjoying the conditions I rigged 5.6 and had one floundering run on the wave board, lost 3 groynes downwind !!! packed up and went home - shame really as it was a nice sunny day. Went to Levington with Mag for tea and cake and wished I had tried there as the conditions looked okay and I could have had a blast to Ipswich on the longboard then tried the shortboard in the bay - still can't win'um all !!!!
